| 6) Additional Comments/Suggestions (From Volcano descending to Nanawale) |

| It
seems to already take a long time to get infrastructure in place and
sometimes the burden of cost for infrastructures is applied on the
homeowner or small business. This can prohibit "good growth." |
| Pule - nice but should it be deity specific? Diversity is our strength |
| Appreciated effort to promote participation of residents. |
| Will do everything possible to participate in future meetings |
| Lots
of work ahead - sounds like county is really serious about making the
process "democratic, but how will the inevitable conflict of our
resources between competing interest be resolved? |
| Please
reviews the goals and implementations that were approved - Volcano
Vision 2020. Happy to hear it will be used as a starting place! This
process is perfect as V.V. 2020 was to have a review this year |

for half hour more and answer questions during that time. You spent a
long time telling me how much you want to listen, then didn't let us
talk very much |

had thought that specific plans for Puna were going to be discussed
tonight. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this meeting was to
discuss the start of the planning process |

months process seems very short for small group meeting, when we spent
two years developing Volcano Vision 2020. Please integrated the plan
into the overall CDP process |

to the point right away. I think you want to enlist community members
to participate in the process. If so, say it up front not at the back
end and better food would be nice. |

| It seems like you have a much tighter plan of action for outreach…good for you…good for us…good for Puna! |

would like to see extended time from at initial (community) input so as
not to "fast track" by those not available immediately. |

communication - it seems like that is the goal, but the outreach is not

was not a lot of public notice, considering the importance. These
meetings should be media priority for the county as your small group
pool is from the people who find out about the meetings and can attend. |
